About Me

My photo
In the last few years I have yearned for something more, something to push my creativity and challenge my mind. Through the 365 Project and Photography I have found a passion that has filled a hole in my heart. A sense of being and a meaning to my life. I hope my pictures live on forever even if only through my children and my blog.

#3 Catchlights

Why is it that teenagers will take tons of pictures of themselves, but when I want a picture it is like pulling teeth? This is my 13 years old daughter Elizabeth. It took several shots before she would smile and then when she did smile she couldn't sit still, so half of the pictures were blurred. So here is the best of the worst.
1/6, f8.0, ISO 200, 27.0mm, Tri-pod, Umbrella light, cropped and lightened.

Here is the picture after I used the Gradient Map & reduce noise in Photoshop. Much Better!

  1. Hi Suzanne,
Finally! I got back to your blog site and loved all the photos - of course I am very biased! Keep up the good work - it's fun to see what you are doing - really liked the "word" photos and of course my lovely granddaughters!
