It snowed about 4" last night. This shot was hard to get with out looking through the viewfinder. This also was my 1st time using the Dioptric knob, I think it helped.

Do tell...about this knob...
ReplyDeleteGREAT shot, too! I love the blurred background, and nice rule of thirds.
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe knob is a small wheel located to the right of the the eyepiece. It makes it so everything is in focused to your eye. I couldn't read the "legend" at the bottom while looking through the viewfinder and everything always looked unclear, but know it is in focus :)
A trick to setting the diopter perfectly in focus, is to remove the lens and point your camera at a reasonably bright light source. Then adjust until the lines in your viewfinder are perfectly in focus. Works every time :)
ReplyDeleteLike Keri Michelle said, very nice job on your rule of thirds and bokeh :) I personally love the composition of this photo! And, well, you already saw what I said on ILP about the brightness :)
