About Me

My photo
In the last few years I have yearned for something more, something to push my creativity and challenge my mind. Through the 365 Project and Photography I have found a passion that has filled a hole in my heart. A sense of being and a meaning to my life. I hope my pictures live on forever even if only through my children and my blog.

#7 My Home Town

Took the girls strawberry picking. We have 3 strawberry patches in Carthage, 3 years ago we had 1.

This didn't come out quite how I imagined it. I wanted to get a close up of a strawberry with one of the girls blurred in the background. The strawberries were really low to the ground, so I have to almost lay on the ground to get this shot.  Also, it was really hot out and the girls were not in the mood for their picture to be taken.

  1. I love strawberry patches. My grandparents always grew them. My dad has one now and I love eating them when they are freshly picked. Great shot.

  2. Thanks Sheryl! I wish I could have gotten a shot with one of the girls a little closer to me and I probably should have used a smaller aperture so that they were more in focus.
